Stillwater has many fine boarding facilities; however, not every pet is well suited to a boarding opportunity.   In addition, some owners prefer not to expose their pets to other animals.  Some other points to consider include:

• A pet sitting service is a great option for pets with special needs.  Some animals, especially those that are very young, those with medical conditions, those with social or anxiety issues, or those that are elderly, may handle the stress of being separated from their owners a bit better if they are allowed to stay in their own homes.  
• Daily visits from a pet sitter can provide peace of mind while you are away.  We care for your pet, and contact you if any problems arise at your home while you are gone.  We can turn lights on and off, check for obvious water leaks, or just pick up the mail and paper.  SPS is is bonded and insured, and references are available. 
• Stillwater Pet Sitters also provides short term options for current clients.   If you have to run to the  city for a last minute business meeting, give us a call.  We'll let the dog out or feed the cat. 
• Pet Courier services available - save your vacation time for the beach and we'll make that vet or grooming appointment for you for a reasonable fee.
• Dog walking and Dog jog programs are a client favorite.  Ask about ours!
• Pet Sitters can also get the pets OUT of the house while you have Christmas dinner, or a special party.  Call us for playtime options.
• Clients who are moving or selling their home may have an open house scheduled and request an afternoon out.  Call us and we'll get the dog out of the house.  This will leave you free to concentrate on presenting the house (not the pup) to potential buyers.
